The People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, commonly known as Algeria, is a country located in the Maghreb region of northern Africa, with its capital in Algiers. It borders the Mediterranean Sea to the north, Libya and Tunisia to the east, Niger, Mali and Mauritania to the southeast and south respectively, and Morocco to the west. According to the relevant regulations of the Algerian government and the notice requirements of the Central Bank, for products listed in the import control catalogue, if the trade settlement method is letter of credit or cash on delivery, a product conformity certificate (i.e. Certificate of Conformity, abbreviated as CoC, and in French it is called Certificat de Contrôle de Qualité des Marchandises) must be attached. This certificate is used to prove that the imported products comply with the technical regulations and standards of Algeria. 

Application Process for COC Certification in Algeria
The application process, precautions and cost details for COC certification in Algeria are as follows: 
I. Application Process 
Submit application materials: packing list, invoice, application form, product photos, as well as ISO9001 certificate and product test report (if any). 
Arranging payment: After the applicant completes the payment, the certification body will review the materials and arrange for the inspection. 
Arrange the inspection: During the inspection process, the focus should be on verifying the product itself, quantity, labels and the marks on the outer cartons. 
Shipment: The goods can be dispatched only after the inspection is passed. 
After shipment, please submit the final packing list and invoice data (the declared quantity must not exceed the quantity filled in at the time of application). 
After the review is error-free, a certificate of conformity will be issued. 
II. Notes
The application must be completed before the shipment of the goods. The inspection date will be indicated on the certificate. Please note that this certification cannot be processed after the goods have been shipped. 
III. Cost Composition
The costs mainly consist of three parts: inspection fees calculated based on the FOB value of the goods, product testing fees, and a fixed amount for certificate issuance. Each certificate corresponds to a single batch of goods only and cannot be reused.
